Hard luggage or Soft luggage
Material: ABS,PP, PC, PVC etc.
Advantages: flexible, high temperature resistant, strong, shock and impact resistant, water resistant, capable of protecting goods inside the luggage effectively, colorful and easy to clean.
Disadvantages: heavier weight, surface can be easily scratched, fixed capacity, more suitable for long distance travel.
PC: PC is known as transparent fabric, commonly known as bullet-proof plastic. Its strength can meet the various needs from mobile phones to bullet-proof glass. It has excellent shock and impact resistance and is also very flexible. PC plates come in various color options and also has good resistance for both cold and hot temperatures. PC is very light weight, it is mostly used for high-end luggage suitcases.
ABS: This material was more popular years ago, it is very strong and solid. Compared to PC, toughness is a little less of ABS. ABS luggage is harder and can be more easily broken. The weight is heavier than PC.
Material: Generally canvas, nylon, EVA, leather etc.
Advantages：Smaller, lighter and more convenient. Better expandability and bigger capacity than hard cases.
Disadvantages: Less shock and impact resistant, more suitable for short distance travel.
Nylon: Good surface glossiness, has a high-end effect, does not attract dust, wear resistant, anti-wrinkle, water resistant, very expensive.
Poly: Soft and comfortable breathable fabric, similar to cotton, wear resistant, anti-wrinkle, water resistant.Currently mostly used for soft luggage, backpacks, computer bags etc.

FAQ
Q: It is normal or not if the rod of luggage is shaking?
A: Conwood was the first company to use the Aluminum alloy rod in its luggage design, which is smoother and more durable. Yes, If it is too tight, it is not good, there is space needed for the suitcase’s rod, because the rod needs to be able to pull back and forth. Considering the seasonal impact of thermal expansion and contraction, a little space between the rod and suitcase is good for friction decreasing.
Q: If the luggage is so light, it is durable or not?
A: Absolutely. To design lighter luggage is the current main trend in the luggage industry, fortunately Conwood is taking the lead in this as we invest heavily in R&D.
We use high quality materials, which makes the luggage lighter and at the same time also more durable.
For example: We use PC material for the body and Aluminum alloy for the rod, as we explained before, the weight of PC is lighter, stronger, more flexible and durable.
Q: Why there is no zipper puller for the inner lining of the luggage?
A: It is specially designed in order to protect the luggage’s body structure. Only when maintenance is needed, the inner side zipper needs to be opened. So this zip doesn’t’ have a zipper puller, it is just to avoid the zipper to be opened at random.
Q: Why there is no key for TSA customs lock? What are the advantages of lower customs lock?
A: The TSA lock is only for Customs inspections, they use a special key to open the suitcase.
The lower customs lock design is better for privacy and safety. Embedded is better.
Q: Why does it mean when people say: `the suitcase’s wheels are lubricated and mute`?
A: Conwood uses imported mute wheels. There is a special lubrication groove in the wheels, lubricants continuously flow out to let the wheels smoothly roll. Even after long time using, the wheels can be smooth and mute. We have a patent on this technology.
